Private Lessons
Private lessons are 110 minutes per session. We have provided private
lessons for from beginner level to extremely advanced level (for
actual college professor with Japanese major PhD.). We have a big
selection of textbook, for middle school student, high school
student, college students, and business person. Even Anime/Manga is
available. We
individualize each class to follow your own specialty, interest, and
pace. We can help for the preparation for the exchanged
student programs, Foreign Study programs for high school
and university, JET
program, business trip, etc. We guarantee our teaching
skill and knowledge. Please contact us to
arrange your schedule (We will ask for your first and second choices
for a day and time of your lessons). The minimum order is for
5 lessons.

Semiprivate Lessons
Semiprivate lessons are also 110 minutes per session. We have provided
semi-private
lessons from beginner level to advanced level.
We offer a
large
selection of textbooks for students and
business person. We individualize
each class to follow your own demand. We guarantee our teaching
skill and knowledge and believe you would be more than satisfied.
Please contact us to arrange your schedule (We will ask for
your first and second choices for a day and time of your lessons).
The minimum order of Semiprivate with 2 students is for 6 lessons
and with 3 students is 7 lessons.

---Registration---
Group Lessons
When you enroll in
Group
lessons you will enjoy eight (8) 110 minutes sessions. We focus on
formal & semi-formal business Japanese language. A textbook is
required. You can buy the textbook through Japanese Language Center
(JLC) at the same time as your registration
if you like.
More advanced Japanese Course and Test
Courses require $10 for the material fees. JLC provides beginning (101-104+), intermediate
(201-204), advanced courses (301-304), more advanced course, Manga/Anime
course, Special courses for JLPT / JETRO
Test, and we offer courses for teenagers (100-300).
To
enroll in the class you must complete your registration and
payment no later than 72 hours before the first class of each course.
We don't accept payment for enrollment on the
first day of the course. We teach from the first class and
don't want to waste your time with administrivia such as payments.
The number of students should be 4-6 in a group. Our group lessons are
restricted to six (6) students. This allows personal interaction not
experienced when classes are too large.
Please
sign up early before the class becomes full. Courses with less
than 4 registrants will be transferred from the regular group course
to the Special Offered Course automatically. The Special
Offered Course provides $400 valued private course (5 sessions) or $360 valued
semi-private course (6 sessions) with the same tuition that you paid for group
course. Please check a Lesson Contract in detail.

Intensive courses
We also provide Intensive Courses for adults and Teens.
They are 6-day of 140 minutes sessions.
Courses with less than 4 registrants will be transferred from the
regular course to the Special Offered Course
automatically.
The Special Offered Course provides 5-day of 100 minutes sessions
for one student class, 6-day of 100 minutes session for 2-3 students
class with the same tuition that you paid for
group course. Please request a Lesson Contract for your
review.

On-site Lessons (your location)
If you desire the
lessons to be taught at your site, there is an additional charge of
40%.
For 30-60 minutes drive time, there is an
additional driving charge of $10 / lesson. Any parking
fees will be invoiced to the client. If you have any
questions, please give us a call or email us.
On-site Corporate
Lessons
If you desire the
group lessons at your
corporate site, the tuition depends on
the number of students in a group. We have special rates for
large groups. Please contact us about On-site Group Lesson Fees.
We provide textbooks at nominal cost and the fees will be invoiced
to the client. The lesson fees allow 30 minutes drive.
For 30-60 minutes drive time, there is an
additional driving charge of $10 / lesson. Any parking
fees will be invoiced to the client. If you have any
questions, please give us a call or email us.
Cancellation/Makeup Policy
Lesson fees are not
refundable after registration.
However, if a whole course is cancelled by Japanese
Language Center, the student has the option of
rescheduling or refund-in-full. However, if you paid your
tuition via PayPal, we refund the amount after reducing PayPal
charging fees. For regular Private or
Semi-private lessons,
we will make up the lesson you missed when
you provide us a notice of the cancellation 48 hours in advance.
For Group Courses including
Special Offered Program,
we will not make up
the lesson you missed. Even if you give
us an early notice about your absence, there is no
make up, no reschedule, nor refund.
Please check a Lesson Contract in detail. If you would like to
schedule an appointment to make up a group class that you
missed, we will offer a discounted lesson at 20% off of the
regular private/semi-private lesson fees for this situation only at
the instructor's discretion.
Other Policy
We open the door for the students to come in 10
minutes before the lesson and close the door 10 minutes after the
end of lesson. We don't allow students use the premises for
self-study. If you would like to observe a class, you must
make an appointment for that. Please note it is limited to 15
minutes.
For your next registration, early registration
with payment by check/cash before your present course ends can get $7
discount coupon.
Registration for more than one course together
in a same term results in a 10% discount of your second purchased block of lessons.
Any referrals signing up for a class results in a
10% discount of your next purchased block of lessons (for you and
your friend).
