Many translation companies use a software of translation but we provide Human Translations.  Japanese language is one of most difficult languages and there is not any Japanese translation software that is able to convert the true meaning of a phrase to or from Japanese and English.  Our translating is not word replacement but consisting of a thorough understanding of the source language and conveying meaning to the target language.  Government agencies generally do not accept machine translations as true translations due to the inherent problems with them.  If you need a truly accurate translation, you had better not settle for anything less than our translation.

Prices

Our translation fee system is very reasonable and clear.  You can compare our price with our competitors.  We always offer the best price and the best quality.  

Translation fees:

         From English to Japanese -  from $0.15/word

         From Japanese to English -  from $0.07/character

         Minimum order is $20.
         After reviewing the documents to be translated, we will advise you of the per word/character fee.

         Translation price depends upon volume, content, difficulty, field of translation e.g. scientific. 

Proofreading fees:

         English document or From English to Japanese -  from $0.06/word

         Japanese document or From Japanese to English -  from $0.03/character

         Minimum order is $20.
         After reviewing the documents proofreading, we will advise you of the per word/character fee.

         Proofreading price depends upon volume, content, difficulty, field  e.g. scientific. 

Additional Fees:

Notarization: If you need Notarization, there is an additional fixed fee of $20 due to external services

Emergency Service: We provide Emergency services when a translation is needed immediately. There is a surcharge of 50% of the regular service price.

Shipping/Handling: Shipping to any part of the US or world is possible using special couriers or express mail where available.  All mailing costs are the responsibility of the client.  Handling cost is $8.00.

Copying/Mailing source document:  We will not return the source document to you.  So please make a copy to send us and keep your original source document.  If you like us to return the source document to you, there is an additional copying/mailing expense and handling cost of $8.00. 

All payments are in advance. 

Japanese Language Center offers payment via credit card using .  For long term relationships other means of payment are available.  Once we have provided you a Translation Estimated Cost, usually via e-mail, please go to the "Translation Payment" page of this website to make the advance payment.  ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
